Howdy! I’m Cathal, and Carrauntoohil Coffee Hut is something my family and I poured our hearts into, on the farmland we call home.
What started as a wild idea (and a shipping container) has grown into something special.
We're surrounded by sweeping mountain views, curious lambs, and Kerry magic.
Fresh off the trail or taking the scenic route and daydreaming about something sweet… well, you’re in the right spot.
We serve locally roasted coffee, real Irish hot chocolate (cheers, Ó Conaill’s), and a warm chat by the counter if you want one.
At Carrauntoohil Coffee Hut, we're very passionate about what we serve!
Our coffee beans are slow-roasted in small batches locally on the Beara Peninsula, and our homemade hot chocolate, made with rich Ó Conaill chocolate flakes, is usually topped with a cloud of cream and fluffy marshmallows.
Our oven, nestled right under Carrauntoohil, is always baking something delicious, from intensely triple chocolatey brownies to moist carrot cake and our popular gluten-free cookies.
We're located at the second entrance to Carrauntoohil (V93 AR2V).
There's a free public car park, follow the sign posts.
